1. Sign-in will start 1 hour before scheduled start of tournament.. The first 100
pre-registered players that show up will be guaranteed a seat.
2. Each player will start with 10,000 in chips.
3. Players will deal themselves. First hand will be determined by
drawing high card.
4. Deal will rotate clockwise around the table.
5. We will be playing No Limit Texas Hold’em. Players will be dealt
2 down cards, followed by a round of betting.
6. Minimum bet is equal to the big blind in all rounds of betting.
7. Minimum raise is double the big blind. Maximum raise is - all of your chips
"All-In"
.
8. Before dealing "the flop", "the turn" & "the river", the dealer
will "burn" a card. This means simply placing the next card
on the stack in a discard pile making the next card(s), the cards
that are used for play in that hand.
9. After all players have either folded or matched the highest bet/raise,
the dealer will deal the flop, 3 cards placed face up.
10. After the flop, another round of betting will commence. In this
round and all future rounds of betting, players are allowed to check. The
minimum bet will be equal to the Big Blind.Any re-raises must be
equal to or greater then the amount of the initial raise.
11. After the second round of betting, the dealer will turn over the
"turn" or "4th Street", this will be followed by another round of
betting. Then the "river card" or "5th street", followed by the last
round of betting. The best 5 card poker hand will be the winner. If
there is a tie, the pot will be split.
12. If a player does not have enough chips to match the other players
during a hand, a side pot will be formed. Additional chips bet during
the hand will be awarded to the player with the best 5 card poker
hand that contributed to the additional pot.
13. Blinds will be raised according to the following schedule:
0 minutes to 30 minutes 100-200
30-55 minutes 200-400 5 minute break
60-90 minutes 500-1,000
90-115 minutes 1,000-2,000 5 minute break
120-150 minutes 2,000-4,000
150-175 minutes 4,000-8,000 5 minute break
180-210 minutes 5,000-10,000
210-235 minutes 10,000-20,000 5 minute break
240-260 minutes 20,000-40,000
260-280 minutes 30,000-60,000
280-300 minutes 40,000-80,000
300 minutes to end 50,000-100,000
We will play out until a champion is crowned!
14. Players will be consolidated to fewer and fewer tables as the
night progresses.
15. Absolutely no cheating or rude or obnoxious behavior allowed. The
Pit Boss will have the right to kick anyone out of the tournament
that was found to be cheating or acting in a manner that is unacceptable
to other players.
16. The Winner of each night’s tournament will be invited to the
Final at the end of the 10 week series.
17. Points will also be awarded to the last 20 players remaining,
in inverse order (1 point to 20th, 2 points to 19th, etc.) The top
50 point earners (non-winners) for the 10 week season will also
be invited to the finals! Plus 1 additional non-winner will be added
for each duplicate winner to make a total of 100 players invited
to the finals. In the event of ties at the cutoff for the 100th
player, all ties will also be invited to the finals. In the event
of no-shows at the finals, we will make a waiting list for fill-ins.
The highest point earners that show up will get awarded the seats.
18. In the event that a player wins more than one event, they will
receive extra starting chips (10,000) for each additional win (i.e...
2 wins = 20,000 chips, 3 wins = 30,000 wins) at the Badger Poker Series
finals.
19. The Pit Boss’s decision will be final on all disputes.
20. All Players must be 18 years of age. No exceptions. |
